Cat has swollen left front leg with a swollen paw...home remedies please?

Hi! My cat came in with a very swollen front left leg and a swollen paw. There is some clear drainage coming out of the paw pads which Maple is trying to wash up himself. Other than that there is no gash/bloody wound. He is alert and limps around to his food & water bowl but doesn't want anyone to touch his swollen area (don't blame him). I would appreciate any home remedies since I cannot afford to take him to the vet at this time. Thank You all in advance!
