I've been searching high and low for a Nintendo DS for xmas,does it P*** you off shops displaying empty boxes?

You go in all the shops and see signs advertising price,package deals etc...queue up to ask for one ........"sorry haven't any at the moment but expecting some soon....." Already tried online shops Argos,Toys "R" Us,Woolies,Smiths,Game etc, etc...Not keen trying EBAY friends have been conned more than once..
