Ladies on a 30-31 day cycle plz help me out .. thank you?

It's hard to say. I have a 34 day cycle and umed that I ovulated half way through the cycle. I was wrong. We used the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor (worth every penny) and learned that I didn't ovulate until day 23 to 25. We had been trying around day 17. Had we continued to do that I never would have gotten pregnant.
