Im doing something crazy! I want to make a hang glider! Help?

Basically, i want to fly. Its been a dream of mine forever. My science fair is coming up too so i thought i could kill to birds with one stone. I want to make a hang glider of sorts for my project. If any one has any knowledge on the subject or helpful tips on how to start hit me with them! Thanks
