Can doing burnouts damage your car?

I have a 73 plymouth duster with a built up engine, So there is no need at all to power brake, and I have an 8 3/4 axle, with a 727 . Can any damage be done by doing a dry burnout? And I'm not worried about the and axle, cause I know they'll stand it. And if it helps any, it's only a 3.23 gear, so it wouldn't jolt the car as much.
