Deliveries from the UK to Germany?

My daughter lives in Germany (based there with the army). They miss being able to order items from the UK without mive delivery charges. There is a company which brings over items from Asda, Argos, etc., once a week but they charge between 20 and 25% of the shopping bill to do this (which seems very expensive). I had an idea to set up something myself doing the shopping and shipping it over via a parcel Company for a lesser fee). Any ideas on this...do you think it's a good idea or do you have any suggestions ?
