Pueblan milksnake care sheet?

okay pueblan milksnakes i have a open 65 gallon tank but no lid that locks if i buy locks for it will it be secure and the tank is rather tall too and can i use a che ceramic heat emiiter and a heat mat or whitch ine will be the best also ill probably use t rex desert snow subatrait ive never used it before can someone please updatte on that too also in ur answer put names thanx you all answers will be appreciated
