i think that if i were you i would have a serious conversation with this guy about how i felt. there is nothing wrong about putting your feelings out on the table and see what happens. people are not mind readers you have to tell them if you want them to know something. just lay it all for him so that he understands where you are coming from and where you want this relationship to go in the future.
