Was the US Government's attack on Eliot Spitzer Really Just about Politics?

Yes. He pissed off the wrong person. Who that person is I would love to know. It was very obviously political even though they tried to spin it that he was just accidentally caught. Imagine how much money they spent to get him. Hubris brought him down.
