What program is there to broadcast sound over the Internet?

I want to broadcast some music over the internet so I can listen to it while I'm not at home. Is there a program to do this? Also, I need it to broadcast streaming music, not just files. Finally, I need the computer where I listen to it over the internet, not to have a special program on it (other than windows media player, internet explorer and other basic programs). My friend used U-broadcast to brocast a tv station over the internet so that wmp could read it, so I want to do the same thing except with sound only. Thanks
