last week i was outside my husband had started the car and was taking the snow off the rear while I was holding my 2mth old baby. I opened the driver side door to put the heating up when suddenly 2 youths came and pushed me and the baby to the ground luckily baby had no injuries i was injured. My question is do I have a right to refuse my car from my insurers as Iam very scared to keep this car as it happened on my doorstep and police believe these lads are from the area and iam scared for my children if they see me coming and going in my car as it was my family car they were caught on cctv but im scared to use the car again

This is regarding a portion of a graded homework ignment. I was checking to see why I got it wrong. Your have $2,675,191.57. Your are supposed to add a profit of 12% to that' number. I multiplied that number by 1.12 and got $2,996,214.56. The book answer devided the number by .88 and got $3,039,990.42. I subsequently missed the problem. I guess im confused as to why the answers are different for one thing and for another what is the proper way to figure out the 12% percent profit? Thanks for any help on this.

Cat has swollen left front leg with a swollen paw...home remedies please?

Hi! My cat came in with a very swollen front left leg and a swollen paw. There is some clear drainage coming out of the paw pads which Maple is trying to wash up himself. Other than that there is no gash/bloody wound. He is alert and limps around to his food & water bowl but doesn't want anyone to touch his swollen area (don't blame him). How do I get my Windows Server 2008 machine to obtain an APIPA?

I have to two Windows Server 2008 computers connected to an isolated network (a cisco 2950 switch connects both computers). However they do not get an APIPA (eg. 169.254.x.x). Instead the computers get preferred addresses beginning with 192.168.x.x. Same thing when computers are connected via a hub. These address are leased so they must be comming from a DHCP service somewhere, but I can's pin it down. I have not added any DHCP server roles yet, so what device is issuing these address and how do I disable the service?

Upper back and breathing pains?

Hi , about 2 weeks ago i fell backwards on to the back of the net at a hockey game. At first my spine and upper right side back was a killer i couldn't lye on it. Now my spine is straight but i cannot take full breaths without having pain on my back ribs, plus for some reason when i get the pains or move wrong my right arm will start to hurt, mostly the tricep area. Plus i cannot shoot a hockey puck normally the follow through kill's. I have had no results from my chiropractic and its been 3 weeks ( 8 sessions). My spine is fine though. I'm of the belief that there's someone out there for everyone. I'm really not the romantic type, so I don't go for that soul mate crap, but I do believe anyone can find someone to be with. Its all about how you project, and confidence goes a long way, even if it is faked. Do they sign my paycheck? Am I going to get fired because some prick in walmart thinks I'm fat? Am I ever going to see these people again in my life? Five minutes from now they'll have forgotten me. They mean nothing to me." You have to learn not to give a ****. Anyone who doesn't want to get to know you just because of your appearance isn't worth getting to know anyway. And trust me on this, there are plenty of women out there who go for hairy guys, or shorter guys, or both. What chases them away if your distaste for yourself. It gets tiresome have to constantly reure someone you're dating that you like them despite or because of their appearance. Be happy with who you are because its not likely to change in this lifetime, and as soon as you start to love yourself, the relationships will happen. I really have no doubt about that.

I'm 17, and my dad got me a car from carmax back in March. He got me a 1999 Jeep Cherokee (4.0 Liter, 2 door), with about 52,000 miles, for about $10k. I believe I am depressed, although i have not had any diagnosis or seen any psychiatrists or counselors or anything. I have come very close to suicide over the past few months, even to the point of holding a gun to my head. But for the past few weeks I have been completely unable to enjoy anything, all I want to do is lay around and sleep. When I hang out with my friends all I can think about the whole time is how much I hate myself. I have been really preoccupied with my own suicide. So far I have been able to refrain from it. But about two weeks ago I started noticing things just didn't seem right. People will tell me things that happened that I don't remember or tell me something happened one way and I remember it happening completely differently. I also feel like I cant control myself, kind of like I'm in a dream. I'm starting to doubt everything.

Attatchment issues - what do I do?

My four month old daughter wont sleep during the day - ever. Apart from the fact that I'm concerned about her not getting enough hours of sleep in total (she sleeps well at night) it is utterly exhausting because she wont be by herself without screaming and crying. She wont even sit in the bouncer beside me (for even less than a minute!), I have to be holding her, and more often than not walking aswell. I've got no help in the day and it's getting to be too much, I cant get any thing done. She will sleep for short bursts while I'm holding her, but wakes very upset when I try to put her down. I feel like I've tried everything. Is there something I'm doin worong or should be doing? Why does she hate being by herself so much? What should I do?

My bedroom is in the basement and I only have one little tinsy window. I grew an artichoke plant this year, I'm wondering why the fruit is so small?

I live here in Albuquerque New Mexico, where the summers are hot and dry, which I've heard the plants don't like. They get plenty of water and where they're planted has good drainage. They don't seem to have a bug problem. (The bugs seem to like the tomato plant across the way.) Two of the four plants started flowering this year, which is suprising since we just planted them in April. Im concerned though because they fruit they have produced, are very small and they dont have very much meat on them. They are smaller then my fist and I have very small hands. They've already started to open. Is there anything that I can do to prevent this from happening next year? Does anyone even know why this is happening? Ladies on a 30-31 day cycle plz help me out .. thank you?

It's hard to say. I have a 34 day cycle and umed that I ovulated half way through the cycle. I was wrong. We used the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor (worth every penny) and learned that I didn't ovulate until day 23 to 25. We had been trying around day 17. Loaner put my horse to sleep?

My mare has been out on full loan for the past 2 years. She suffered an episode of colic and the loaner had her put to sleep without my consent. By the time I arrived she was already gone. Removing dried excess "Great Stuff" foam from f/g surface -?

I used some "Great Stuff" expanding foam to fill up a small void I had in a damaged boat hull. I got some drips here & there on the surrounding fibergl surface - is there any way to remove the dried foam from the f/g ? I know over time when exposed to sun, rain, elements, the 'great stuff' will gradually break down & hopefully come off, but in the meantime is there any product, cleaner, chemical that would remove the drops & smudges (probably not without damaging the fibergl too ??)

I just needs some support from the dugout on this one!! I have a full time job, and have a 45 minute longer commute than my husband does. I don't live in Florida; but my family keeps a vacation home in Destin Florida (about 6 hours from where I live). I enjoy the time I spend down there. I have not lived in LA; however I have traveled ther several times. Compared to LA, Florida is so much quieter and easy going (to me). Still there is no shortage of activity. Florida (as many other places) varies from town to town and region to region (Ex. Miami moves at a faster pace than Key West but both have a great night life) So it really has something to offer for everyone. It just takes a little time to adjust. Good Luck

I'm 28 and absolutely loved them. I abhor chick lit, but am not sure that Twilight falls into that category. They're definitely a "guilty pleasure" as they were written for a pre-teen age group. However, there is something almost every person can relate to within the story. You find yourself very attached to the characters and the writing is not necessarily geared towards younger generations. It is a good series for any age group. She's an excellent writer and the story is extremely engrossing. If your friend believes that you will enjoy them (and this person knows you pretty well) I would trust that your friend would not steer you wrong.

My best friend Ditched me!?

ok...so me and my best friend have been friends since 5th grade. I am now a freshman in college. We didn't go to the same high school or anything but we were sooo close! in fact you couldnt even really say we were best friends, we were more like sisters! Well, the problem all started my sophmore year in highschool when i started dating the love of my life who im still with to this day. I usually ditched my best friend for him a lot and didnt think much of it. But she confronted me about it one day and I felt so bad and finally realized what I was doing and how I was hurting her feelings, which i never wanted to do and I broke down cried and apologized and stoped ditching her and ignoreing her and started to patch things up between us. This is where the problem starts, I understand what I did was wrong but I was truly sorry about it and really tried to do the right thing and start over. She said she forgave me and I thought everything was going to be back to the way it was. Oh was I wrong... After that day she started ditching me little by little... to the point where we only hung out maybe once a week. She started to get new friends that were really into the whole party and drinking scene which i totally am not into, and neither was she...well at least thats what she used to say. and get this the "new friends" she hangs out with are girls that used to make fun of her! anyways like i said i would only hang out with her once a week, yeah well this once a week deal was when she asked me if i wanted to go to target or wallmart with her and when i get there i realize that she only brought me along because she didnt want to go shopping for a new shirt by herself for a party that she was going to that night. I hadnt said anything for a while but senior year in highschool came and enough was enough! One week she told me to meet her at her house and we could hang out, i said ok and that i had to talk to her about something important anyway, i was going to bring up how i felt. I get to her house and call her on her cell phone...no answer, im standing on her lawn...she doesnt come out...i ring her doorbell...NOTHING...I finally text her and tell her to come outside and her reply is that "I cant im inside with my friend and were working on homework" At this moment I became FURIOUS and left! I started to text her and let her know how i felt and all i got in return were "hahaha's" and "whatevers" It was amazing how she didnt care at all! We stopped talking after that for the entire senior year. When the summer came I knew I was going away for college and I didn't want to leave without saying goodbye to her because even though we hadnt talked it just hit me that I was going away and she did mean something to me...she was my best friend...well i called her up and asked her if we could meet. she agreed and i went there and we talked about how we were dum and we shouldnt have faught...well when i went away for college we still did fight we faught because she wouldnt ever pick up my phone calls or call me back and when she did it was only to tell me about an awsome party she went to orr how she got totally wasted or something like that...i even got a myspace and wanted to try and keep in touch with her like that and added her as a friend but she would never comment me back at all or message me! bickering back and forth went on and on and i tried to tell her how She hurt me and how i wanted to make things right but it all went in one ear and out the other because apparently she didnt care...she pretended she did but i kno now she didnt. we said when i come back home for xmas break things would be different but she only saw me once for about 2 hours. then would only contact me when it was convinient for her and if i didnt call her she would ask "are you mad at me yes or no, i would usually reply idk its not like we ever talk anyways" and she would say whatever i m trying to make things right...WHAT!?!?!?!?!?! ugh i dono i mean i've been hurt by her so badly! she even lied to me about graduating high school...which she didnt!
